If you’re looking for a painting that honors a person, season, relationship, or life moment—but you don’t want a standard portrait—I create one-of-a-kind commissioned paintings built from symbolism, emotion, and narrative. My work is not a literal reproduction of a face, pet, or place. Instead, I translate what matters most into a layered, expressive painting that invites reflection and connection.

What I Create

I don’t accept traditional commissions such as:

  • realistic portraits of individuals or pets

  • exact paintings of homes, landscapes, or specific locations

  • replicas of photographs

What I do create:

  • narrative, symbolic paintings inspired by your story

  • “presence portraits” (the essence of a person without copying a photo)

  • pieces that blend meaningful elements—people, objects, animals, places, and themes—into a new original work

How the Process Works

  1. Request & Conversation
    Send a request through the Contact page and tell me what you’re hoping to celebrate or remember. We’ll talk about the meaning behind the piece, the mood you want, and any key symbols that should be considered.

  2. Photos & Story Gathering
    You may submit reference photos and details that help me understand your world—people, settings, objects, colors, and moments that matter. These are used as creative references, not as a blueprint for a traditional portrait.

  3. Creation: Order From Chaos
    When I begin your painting, I follow my process—starting with collage, texture, and layered marks—allowing the image to emerge organically. Your story guides the work, but the final composition is shaped by intuition, symbolism, and the painting itself. The result is an original artwork that feels personal, not predictable.
